Best Topical Relief for Herpes Lesions?

by Jack

Which combinations of herbal and other natural products can be mixed in the attempt to heal herpes 2 lesions?

Hi Jack, and thanks for your question regarding topical remedies for herpes lesions.

The best topical treatment for healing lesions is definitely a bee/honey based ointment called propolis.

In a randomized study, 90 people with genital herpes used one of three treatments during an outbreak... a ´╗┐propolis ointment, topical Zovirax, or a placebo ointment. Researchers found the individuals in the propolis group experienced a much faster healing time for their lesions and were more likely to have fully healed sores by day 10 of the treatment compared to the people using Zovirax or the placebo.

This stuff really does work exceptionally well and you don't need to mix it with anything else. You can check out some reputable brands here and read what other people have to say about them for healing herpes sores... Propolis Ointments.

Something else you can use which is also very effective is the olive leaf extract in tincture form or powdered form (mixed with slight amount of oregano oil or olive oil). Simply rub directly on any sores or blisters for some quick relief. You can have a look at some OLE tinctures here... Olive Leaf Extract Tincture.

So use either of these two Jack and you won't go wrong.

All the best to you,
