For any alternative cancer treatment to work effectively, you must eat and take the right foods and supplement formulas, otherwise, you will simply be wasting your time and money.
So what are some of the best food and supplemental sources for the cancer treatments we've listed in our articles? Take a look at the following list for a complete guide on exactly what you need...
Calcium: For calcium supplementation you simply can’t go past coral calcium. It contains high amounts of pre-ionized (readily absorbable) calcium and magnesium, along with plenty of the other important vitamins and minerals we need. Just make sure you only ever buy coral calcium supplements that come from sustainable sources, such as the sediment “reef milk” brands, rather than ones that take the coral calcium straight off the reefs (this process causes major damage to the oceans eco system).
Also, calcium supplements that contain calcium malate, aspartate or lactate (along with vitamin D and magnesium) are good choices. Be sure you blend up or chew the tablets first before swallowing or your body won’t be able to absorb them properly.
Note: The RDA for calcium is 1,500 milligrams a day, but this is way too low. To successfully treat cancer, you must make sure you get at least 2,000 mg of absorbable calcium every day.
Oh, and forget about consuming milk for your calcium and other nutrients, unless you have access to milk straight from a cow. Homogenised and pasteurized milk has been heated and treated so much it has next to no nutritional value left and is actually toxic to the body, especially the gut.
Also, you can now buy water filtration systems (ionized water filters) that convert essential minerals from our tap water, such as calcium and magnesium, into ionized forms that the body can easily absorb. So not only do you get the benefit of drinking purified water, you also get the added benefit of consuming safe and highly absorbable minerals such as calcium!
Vitamin D: For vitamin D, Cod liver oil is a fantastic choice (along with receiving lots of sunlight). Not only is it rich in essential fatty acids, it’s also rich in vitamin D3 (the same as what the sun produces) so be sure to include this in your supplementation program, along with fish oil - which is another potent source of vitamin D.
You can also purchase specific Vitamin D supplements that contain high doses of vitamin D3. According to vitamin D expert, Dr. Cedric Garland, if you have cancer then you need at least 10,000 IU of vitamin D every day so plenty of sun and supplementation will be required... Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV), Baking Soda (Bi Carb of Soda) and Maple Syrup: Even though we've already given you the recommendations and dosages for these treatments, here they are again…
Only use certified and high grade “aluminium free” baking soda and only use grade B maple syrup, or at the very least, the darkest grade A you can find. Or as an alternative to the maple syrup, you can use organic unsulphured black-strap molasses or manuka honey instead. The apple cider vinegar must still contain the “mother” apple and be 100% organic. And finally, no sugars, white flour, or any refined and processed foods are to be consumed. These foods will severely lessen the effects of this treatment (you want the cancerous cells to “devour” as much maple syrup and baking soda as possible - not other “wasted” sugars).
For dosages, thoroughly mix up 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 1 ½ to 2 teaspoons of maple syrup on a desert spoon or table spoon and take 20 minutes before food. Drink one full glass of clean filtered water straight afterwards. Do this twice a day for the first week then increase to three times daily after this. Continue to follow this regimen for 4-6 weeks before resting. You may then repeat this protocol once again after a 4 week rest period if desired.
With the apple cider vinegar, mix a tablespoon in a glass of warm filtered water and drink twice a day, 30 minutes after taking your baking soda and maple syrup mixture. Add some lemon juice for extra benefit (alkalinity) and taste as well.
Selenium: For selenium supplementation, you can buy selenium tablets or powders and take green food supplements such as cereal grass, Chlorella or spirulina (these foods also contain high amounts of vitamins C, E and beta carotene).
You do need to make sure you take AT LEAST 200-400 micrograms (mcg) a day of organic selenium (selenomethionine) from brewers yeast, or even better, Se-Methyl L-Selenocysteine (the best of them all), for maximum benefit.
According to Dr Larry Clarke, to use selenium to treat cancer, you can take up to 750-1000 micrograms a day in complete safety (some doctors actually prescribe up to 10,000 micrograms a day for cancer patients). 1
Also, eat plenty of Brazil nuts (buy the shelled kind) as they contain high amounts of selenium.
Green Tea: When it comes to green tea, you can purchase various brands from most health food stores or supermarkets. We’ve found the ones that contain the different blends of green tea are the best. Matcha green tea is also extremely good and is actually higher in antioxidants than regular green tea - so if you can find this type be sure to go with it first.
Also, if you can’t handle the taste of green tea, then adding a small amount of lemon or lime to your cup will help neutralize the taste. This will make the tea a lot easier to drink. Just be sure to drink at least 5 cups a day of green tea for it to work effectively.
Cereal Grasses Such as Wheat Grass and Barley Grass: Cereal grasses contain high amounts of the anti-cancer nutrients vitamin C, vitamin E, beta carotene (pro-vitamin A), iodine and selenium - along with the powerful antioxidant super oxide dismutase (SOD). However, it’s vital that you check and make sure they've been organically grown in mineral rich soils first (not all of them are). Also, purchase the dehydrated types over the juiced varieties (they contain more natural fibre and nutrients). Here's a highly reputable brand if you're interested... Black Seed and Soursop (Graviola): We've already given you our recommendations on these as well, but we want to reiterate a few things. Firstly, when it comes to black seeds and the oil, make sure you purchase them from a reputable supplier and make sure you only purchase a high quality oil. Amazon supplies good quality oil and seeds if you're looking to buy online, otherwise, health food stores should be able to help you out with this.

Herbs: When it comes to using herbs to treat cancer, always try and grow them organically in your garden if you can. It’s a lot cheaper and you know exactly what you’re getting. If you live in a country where the climate is warm, you can easily grow your own herbs. If not, try and buy organic, or as a last resort, purchase supplements.
Cannabis Oil (Hemp Oil): Of course, the cheapest (and safest) way to get your cannabis oil is to grow and make your own. Unfortunately, if you live in a country where cannabis is illegal then this is going to be a problem, so you need to fully understand your countries governing laws on cannabis before you make any decisions. Finally, like we said in our article on cannabis oil and herbs for cancer, you can purchase legal forms of CBD hemp oil in most countries. The only real difference between this oil and the "home made" oil is the hallucinogenic cannabinoid (THC) has been removed. This oil is still an excellent choice however. What you eat for every meal is also extremely important for treating and reversing cancer. Stay completely away from sugar and all processed foods (our immune phagocytic cells are unable to destroy tumor cells for 8 hours after sugar is eaten). Remember this important fact - cancer loves sugar!
Complex carbs such as breads and pastas should also be avoided, along with margarine, hydrogenated oils and fried foods (these last three contain deadly trans-fatty acids and free radicals). If you had to make a list of the absolute worst possible foods to eat for cancer, these would surely be it.
In addition, be sure to eat plenty of organic vegetables and fruits (grow them yourself if you can) as these will help to alkalize the body. The most important ones to eat for cancer are cabbage, leeks, broccoli, blackberries, blueberries and goji berries.
... And your final, and probably your most important task, is to test your pH level everyday. You can buy pH test strips online or from your local health food store. These strips are cheap and very easy to use. It only takes about 20 seconds to check your body’s pH level. You can then adjust your supplementation and eating program to suit the reading. Remember, your pH level must be above 7.25, with 8 and over being the ideal level for reversing cancer.
