Olive Leaf Extract Dose for 3 Year Old Who is Type I Diabetic?
Hi. What would be the dosage of the olive leaf extract for a child of 3 years with type 1 diabetes?
P.S. Your website is the best I've ever seen, and I've been looking for a year and a half! Thanks again.
Hello, and thank you for your question regarding OLE dosages.
Firstly, thanks for your comment about our website. It really makes us feel good when we hear positive feedback. In a world where people are quick to complain and tell you everything that's wrong with what you're doing, it's nice to hear when you're doing something right, so thank you once again.
Now, in regards to the olive leaf extract dose for a 3 year old diabetic, it is going to depend greatly on the product you buy. OLE comes in different potencies so this will certainly have a bearing on how much to give a 3 year old. The recommended dosages listed on the bottle will usually start from 2-3 years old and go up from there. So if you stick with the manufactures recommendations you won't go wrong.
The olive leaf extract we recommend from Olivus is definitely the best there is (that's the honest truth). It's potency and high oleuropein content make it by far the best choice. They make an OLE that is alcohol free, tastes great and is perfect for kids (the hardest part is getting kids to take OLE because of its awful bitter taste). Start off with 1/2 teaspoon and work up to 1 teaspoon daily after 3 weeks. You can read more about it here if you're interested... Fresh Olive Leaf Extract.
Of course, there are many other OLE supplements around. Like I said, just be sure to follow the directions on the bottle. You can also view these guidelines for more information... Olive Leaf Extract Dosages.
Hope this helps.
Good luck and all the best!
