Rosacea and Underweight. Need Help Please?
I have been suffering from rosacea for around 5 years.
It started as a small red patch next to my nose and now it runs down both sides of my nose and I recently began getting enlarged pores and redness to the forehead and chin. I have spent hours and hours researching this horrid condition and every article I seem to find says diet is a big factor and changing your diet will also help you to loose weight.
But why does every article I read assume you are overweight??
I weigh 7 stone and I am 5 foot 4 inches and have struggled all my life to put weight on. I have drastically changed my diet (which I already considered quite healthy) but I still cannot put weight on.
Is there a link with being underweight and having rosacea and if so what can I do?
Hi Karen, and thanks for your question regarding rosacea and gaining weight.
Yes you are correct. Many people who suffer from rosacea also struggle with weight gain, which is why most articles on rosacea tend to focus on this as well.
Your case is not uncommon though.
One of the main reasons for being overweight or underweight, especially in women, is hormonal imbalances. And the two best ways to correct this is by taking apple cider vinegar and boron. Both of these are instrumental in both rebalancing hormones AND curing auto-immune diseases such as rosacea and psoriasis.
Have a read of our "Natural Remedy for Rosacea"
article again and pay particular attention to remedies #2 and #5. And also take the time to read "The Borax Conspiracy" article we link to in our #5 remedy, paying particular attention to the "Sex Hormones" and "Fungi and Fluoride" sections of that article.
These will help you tremendously Karen.
Hope this helps.
Good luck and all the best to you.
