Top 4 Natural Remedies for Prostatitus...

QUESTION:

I was treated by a urologist for 20 years for chronic prostatitus.
During that time I had several prostate operations with no success.
Then I changed my urologist and his finding was that nothing is or was ever wrong with my prostate.
The problem lies with the urethral sphincter beneath the prostate that does not open completely every time when urinating. This is allowing the urine to run back into the prostate, causing chemical burns. The result is chronic prostatitus.
For this problem he prescribes an alphablocker which is not very effective and not a long term solution.
Is there any alternative available that is more effective and can be used long term?

ANSWER:

Hello, and thank you for your question regarding an alternative treatment for prostatitis.

Firstly, I have to say that I'm not a doctor and the opinions and recommendations listed here are purely my own. It's your choice as to what you do with this information.

Now, normally when the urethral sphincter does not open fully it's caused by something that's inflamed and swollen pressing against it. I'd be willing to bet it's your prostate gland that's doing this. My uncle suffered from this same problem and as a result of him following my recommendations he was able to fix it within 6-8 weeks. Here's what he did...

#1. Saw Palmetto: This fruit is absolutely amazing and is the best natural cure for prostate enlargement and inflammation there is (it's also completely safe and has no side effects). You must find a high strength saw palmetto supplement and work up to taking double the recommended dose. After 8 weeks you drop back to the maintenance dose. If you ever find your symptoms starting to reappear again you double the recommended dose again for 8 weeks before dropping back to the maintenence dose once again. This is what my uncle did and still does to this day (3 years later) with tremendous success.

#2. Cayenne Pepper: Cayenne pepper increases blood flow which then naturally reduces swelling and inflammation. Many guys, including my uncle, have used cayenne pepper to successfully treat prostatitis and erectile dysfunction. Try and aim for at least 1/2 a teaspoon taken twice daily for best results.

#3. Zinc: Zinc is as important to the prostate gland as the sun is to plants. In fact, the biggest concentration of zinc for males is found in the prostate gland! Studies show that men with low levels of zinc in their bodies eventually suffer with prostatitis and get prostate cancer. Eat lots of pumpkin seeds (they're rich in zinc) and take a good quality chelated or colloidal zinc supplement to get your daily amount.

#4. Lycopenes: This is the red pigment contained in common foods such as tomatoes, pink grapefruit, guava and watermelon (watermelon contains the highest amounts). What most men don't realize is the prostate gland is the main storage place for heavy metals and toxins in the male body. These toxins eventually create havoc and play a big role in the inflammation, swelling and pain associated with prostatitis. Because lycopenes are such powerful antioxidants, they help to remove the heavy metals and toxins that accumulate in the prostate gland.
