Here’s How to Unleash Your Body’s Natural “Feel Good” Hormone…
August 20, 2015

Enjoy Amazing Energy and a “Natural High” Like You’ve Never Felt Before by Activating This Powerful Hormone…

Good morning folks and welcome to our August edition of Life Saving Health Solutions. Thank you for being part of our health circle once again and I hope you enjoy today’s newsletter and the information I'm going to share.

When you look around at the people in your life (and even yourself), do you see smiling, happy, energetic people that love life and what they’re doing? Or do you see people in bad moods, always stressed-out and at the point of exhaustion? These days, the majority of us are nothing but bad mood, “highly strung” individuals who lack motivation, energy and mental focus. And the worst part is these problems are continuing to get worse for everybody!

The fact is, each of these problems and emotions have a very profound (and negative) effect on everyone around you, especially those closest to you. And like falling dominoes, everything else in your life starts to suffer…

Your social life suffers

Your love life suffers

Your ability to see anything positive suffers

Your ability to focus suffers

Your health suffers (these are some the main triggers for obesity, heart disease, stroke, cancer and other diseases).

To try and fix this, people go and dose themselves up on coffee, energy drinks, over-the-counter and prescription drugs, and even recreational drugs and alcohol (all only temporary fixes of course). But all these do is make you feel 1000 times worse once their effects wear off!

Xanthohumol to the Rescue

Here’s something really powerful… Researchers have discovered that by releasing the “feel good” hormone in your body, known as Oxytocin, you can naturally increase your energy and moods, along with your stamina and endurance, and you can do this safely without any harmful effects. And what they’ve also found is the best way to unleash this hormone is with a micro-nutrient called Xanthohumol. This substance is a naturally occurring molecule found in the hops plant - the same plant used to make beer. But before all you beer lovers start rejoicing, the hops plant doesn’t contain nearly enough Xanthohumol to be effective. And in its natural state, Xanthohumol cannot be absorbed in significant amounts by your body anyway.

Want to Feel Amazing, Full of Energy and IN LOVE With Life?

Okay, maybe that headline is a bit over the top, but I’m really excited at the moment because there’s a new natural product on the market (Meridium) that contains Xanthohumol in a highly absorbable form. This stuff gives you such an incredible lift in energy, moods, stamina and endurance, but remarkably, keeps you completely calm and relaxed at the same time. The extraordinary focus and alertness you also get from this supplement is unlike anything else I’ve ever come across. And best of all, it’s completely safe for everyone to use! (For me, this is perfect to have just before hitting the gym).

“Meridium” comes from the Life Enthusiast Company, who are one of the most trusted supplement companies in the world. I suggest you have a look at it here… Meridium for Stamina, Endurance and Mental Focus

Now I know this might be sounding like an advertisement but it’s not. I do, however, want to be completely up front and honest with you here though. We are part of Life Enthusiasts affiliate program, but that’s not why I’m recommending this (that’s the honest truth). This stuff is the real deal and really works!!!

Anyway, here’s some more things Xanthohumol does…

• Supports cell health to fight oxidative stress

• Regulates fat metabolism and storage

• Modulates cholesterol and triglyceride levels

• Promotes general health to ward off illness (antiviral)

• Supports eye cornea and retina health

• Maintains glucose and insulin levels

• Protects against free radicals (even better than green tea and red wine, with 6 times the power of antioxidant-rich citrus fruits and 4 times the strength of soy foods)

• Eliminates toxins from the body

The health benefits of Xanthohumol have actually been known for quite some years. In fact, more than 75 scientific papers have already been produced on this compound and over 200 research studies have been able to verify its extraordinary range of benefits.

In vitro studies have shown Xanthohumol inhibits and even reverses…

Inflammation within the body

More than sixty types of cancers including: Leukemia, Lung Cancer, Colon Cancer, Breast Cancer, Prostate Cancer, and a whole host of other deadly cancers

Xanthohumol Protects Brain Cells…

The main cause of brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s, dementia and Parkinson’s is oxidative damage (free radical damage). Scientists and researchers, such as Jianguo Fang, believe that by protecting our brain cells, or neurons, we can prevent and even reverse these horrible degenerative diseases.

Xanthohumol has been found to protect neuronal cells in lab rats (yes, no conclusive tests have been done on human brain cells yet, but the research is very promising) and last year, Oregon State University researchers reported in the Behavioral Brain Research journal that Xanthohumol was able to boost cognitive function in mice.

Xanthohumol Also Turns Back the Age Clock…

High profile “superfood guru” David Wolfe talks a lot about Xanthohumol and is a strong advocate of it. He says it’s a potent “anti-aging and longevity enhancer” and I agree. The more research I do on this potent compound the more benefits I find! Here’s some more… Xanthohumol - The Superman Diet

Mark my words, you’re definitely going to hearing a lot more about this substance in the not-to-distant future. Expect to see rejuvenation and skin care companies jump on the Xanthohumol bandwagon real soon! (If some haven’t already).

This Just In…

Hot Chillies Found to Help You lose Weight, New Study Reveals

Researchers have discovered that a high-fat diet can impair important receptors located in the stomach that signal fullness, but chillies activate these receptors so you naturally eat less. The results were published in the journal PLOS ONE, where researchers from the University's Centre for Nutrition and Gastrointestinal Diseases (South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute) studied the correlation between hot chilli pepper receptors (TRPV1) in the stomach and the feeling of fullness.

Associate Professor Amanda Page, Senior Research Developer at the University of Adelaide's School of Medicine and lead author on the paper said…

"The stomach stretches when it is full, which activates nerves in the stomach to tell the body that it has had enough food. We found that this activation is regulated through hot chilli pepper or TRPV1 receptors. It is known from previous studies that capsaicin, found in hot chillies, reduces food intake in humans. And what we've discovered is that deletion of TRPV1 receptors dampens the response of gastric nerves to stretch -- resulting in a delayed feeling of fullness and the consumption of more food. Therefore part of the effect of capsaicin on food intake may be mediated via the stomach”.

“We also found that TRPV1 receptors can be disrupted in high fat diet induced obesity," she went on to say.

Dr Stephen Kentish said this discovery will produce further studies and hopefully the development of new therapies…

"It's exciting that we now know more about the TRPV1 receptor pathway and that the consumption of capsaicin may be able to prevent overeating through an action on nerves in the stomach. The next stage of research will involve investigation of the mechanisms behind TRPV1 receptor activation with the aim of developing a more palatable therapy. We will also do further work to determine why a high-fat diet de-sensitises TRPV1 receptors and investigate if we can reverse the damage"..

This study corresponds with another study performed by scientists at the Laval University in Quebec, who found participants who took cayenne pepper with their breakfast had less appetite and ate less, which of course led to fewer calories consumed throughout the day.

Personally, I don’t see the need for further research (and wasted money). If you want to lose weight then eat a low fat diet, moderate carbs, moderate exercise, and eat plenty of red hot chillies! Cayenne pepper is my favorite and works amazingly well. Red peppers are also potent thermogenics, which mean they heat up the body so it naturally burns calories. In fact, they can boost your calorie burning capacity between 5 and 10% for up to 2 hours after eating!

Chillies such as cayenne pepper are also excellent for gut health and soothing the lining of the gut. They also prevent and treat diabetes, heart disease, stroke, circulatory problems such as thrombosis, erectile dysfunction, cancer, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, arthritis, toothache, headaches, sinusitis, colds and flu, the list goes on.

So I recommend you work up to taking half to one teaspoon of cayenne pepper powder three times a day with a meal. Or if you find the powder just way too hot, go with the easy swallow capsules instead.

And This…

FDA Approves the Use of “Female Viagra” Drug, But With Stern Warning…

Now this would be one of the biggest jokes of the year, if it wasn’t so serious. The FDA has just given the green light to one of the most controversial drugs any pharmaceutical company has tried to get approval for. The female Viagra drug “Addyi” will only be available through highly trained health care professionals according to the FDA due to its safety issues (and the pill is pink, while the male Viagra pill is blue. How sweet!) A consumer watchdog group that testified against the drug earlier this year have already predicted Addyi will be pulled from the market within a few years. They said the drug offers "serious dangers to women, with little benefit" and concluded by saying "unfortunately, we haven't heard the last of this drug".

In a clinical study, Addyi caused women to have an increase of about “one sexually satisfying event per month” (is that all?) compared with women taking a placebo. Advocates claim the increase is meaningful. Critics say the tiny benefit is far outweighed by the drug’s adherent risks. Some of the side effects include low blood pressure, fainting and severe nausea.

What’s interesting about this is the FDA has twice rejected Sprout Pharmaceuticals Addyi drug. But this latest decision comes after an “advisory panel” determined it should be approved, but with strict measures in place so females are fully aware of the risks.

Something smells very fishy about this latest approval if you ask me? I believe a lot of it has to with certain women’s groups and an online petition group called Even the Score (funnily enough, this group is sponsored by Sprout Pharmaceuticals) who’ve accused the FDA of being “gender bias”. “The FDA has approved 24 drugs for the treatment of male sexual dysfunction. For women, that number is zero”, they say.

As always, you would only need to follow the money trail to find the real reason for this latest approval (this drug is going to make squillions for its maker and whoever else has financial interests in it).

Expect to see more in the news about this one in the months and years ahead!

That’s all for this month. Until next time, stay safe and stay healthy.

Best regards,
